Operation Address The Homeless (OATH), a nonprofit organization in Allentown, knows that their strength lies not only in the words they stand by, but most importantly through the actions of their initiatives. It is the mission of Operation Address the Homeless to strengthen and support our communities by providing meals, showers, haircuts, clothing and job opportunities to the homeless, and to advocate for collaborative locally driven means to end and prevent homelessness helping improve the quality of life.

Since 2014, OATH has been assisting the unhoused in the area. Their ultimate goal was to establish a facility where essential services could be provided to improve the quality of life, and they achieved that. Their facilities currently offer showers, laundry, meals, haircuts, job training, life skills training and, most importantly, provide individuals with a sense of pride, purpose, and self-worth.

“As we welcome OATH as a new United Way of the Greater Lehigh Valley partner, we’re inspired by their dedication to providing compassionate support to those experiencing homelessness. Together, we’re navigating through challenges to build a brighter future for our community,” said Priscilla Rosado, United Way Director of Partner Engagement.

Through collaboration with OATH, United Way of the Greater Lehigh Valley continues its commitment to addressing homelessness and supporting initiatives that make a real difference in people’s lives.
