HNL Lab Medicine to Receive United Way’s Prestigious PPL Live United Award

HNL Lab Medicine is proud to announce that it has been selected to receive the esteemed PPL Live United Award. This recognition by United Way of the Greater Lehigh Valley is a testament to HNL Lab Medicine’s outstanding commitment to improving the quality of life for those in need within the community.

The PPL Live United Award is presented annually to an organization or company that demonstrates exceptional engagement and dedication to the community. It recognizes companies that uphold United Way’s best practices, exhibit accountability in both internal and external community efforts, and display exemplary leadership in diversity, financial stewardship, measurable results, and performance excellence.

“We are thrilled to present HNL Lab Medicine with United Way’s highest honor,” said Shaun Marakovits, Director of Workplace Engagement, United Way of the Greater Lehigh Valley. “Their generous contributions and unwavering commitment to community service have truly made a difference in the lives of countless individuals in our region.”

As the newest member of United Way‘s Cornerstone Society, which comprises organizations contributing $100,000 or more, HNL Lab Medicine has demonstrated a profound dedication to excellence and philanthropy. Their support serves as the foundation for positive change and transformative impact throughout the Lehigh Valley.

In the 2023 campaign, HNL Lab Medicine made its largest corporate and employee gifts in its history. This remarkable contribution includes a significant increase in the number of donors and underscores HNL’s innovative approaches to inspiring giving within its organization.

Furthermore, HNL Lab Medicine’s efforts have resulted in the addition of at least two new contributors to the Tocqueville Society, a prestigious group of philanthropic visionaries within the United Way Worldwide global network.

“We are deeply honored to receive the prestigious PPL Live United Award from the United Way of the Greater Lehigh Valley,” said Jessica Bargilione, Vice President of Marketing, HNL Lab Medicine. “At HNL Lab Medicine, we believe in the power of community and are committed to making a positive impact in the lives of our neighbors. This award is a testament to the spirit of collaboration and compassion that drives our team, inspiring us to reach new heights in our efforts to make a meaningful difference in the lives we touch.”

The award will be officially presented to HNL Lab Medicine at United Way’s annual Celebration of Caring on Thursday, April 11, 2024, at 4:30 p.m. at ArtsQuest. This event will celebrate the collective efforts of organizations and individuals who have made significant contributions to the Lehigh Valley community.

“We extend our heartfelt congratulations to HNL Lab Medicine on this well-deserved honor,” said Marakovits. “We are grateful for their partnership and commitment to creating a better, stronger community for all.” For more information about HNL Lab Medicine, visit hnl.com.
