Key Strategies to advance healthy aging:
when you support healthy aging, you help:
ENSURE CAREGIVERS ARE CONNECTED TO RESOURCES.
Mental health/self-care resources and support: In partnership with Resilient Lehigh Valley, we provide self-care and mental health training for professionals, caregivers and older adults to address the grief that comes with being a caregiver and for those experiencing the tremendous life change that comes along with dementia.
ENSURE THAT HEALTH CARE PROFESSIONALS ARE EQUIPPED TO DIAGNOSE DEMENTIA.
By increasing awareness of dementia and Alzheimer’s, a greater number of individuals will be diagnosed early and receive more successful treatment and caregiver support planning.
“Age-Friendly communities ensure all their residents are connected, respected and have access to the resources they need to age successfully.”
